SSG Ha Jae-hoon activated the home run machine for the second straight day for the first time since his KBO debut.
After hitting his first career two-run home run against Doosan the day before, Ha hit Alcantara’s 155-kilometer-per-hour fastball over the fence with two outs in the top of the fourth inning with the score tied at 2-2.
It was his fifth home run of the season, measured at 130 meters, and it was the second straight game he hit a home run in his debut.
The home run in the eighth inning, which tied the game at 4-4, cut the gap between Choi, who is second in the league in home runs, and Noh Si-hwan (Hanwha Eagles), who leads the league with 29, to six.
