Here are five players for whom the game against Sheffield United could be a farewell.
It’s the start of a revamped Tottenham Hotspur squad that has seen the club drop captain and ace Son Heung-min, as well as several other players.
Tottenham will face Sheffield Wednesday at Bramall Lane in Sheffield, England, on Tuesday in the 38th and final round of the 2023-2024 Premier League (PL) season. Spurs are currently fifth in the league with 63 points, while Sheffield are bottom of the table with 16 points.

The previous record was set by Swindon Town in the 1993-94 season when they conceded 100 goals in 42 games, but Sheffield have surpassed that. What’s more, Sheffield have played fewer games than Swindon at the time. That’s why it’s hard to imagine Tottenham losing.
It’s not just the record or Spurs’ situation that’s noteworthy. It could be the farewell game for several Spurs players.
Football London in the United Kingdom has identified five players who could play their final game for Tottenham against Sheffield Wednesday, and who could be on the move this summer.
The five players named by the publication are Bryan Hill, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, Giovani Lo Celso, and Emerson Royal. All of them are players who have failed to establish themselves in Ange Postecoglou’s system.
There are only three players who could get a chance to play 안전놀이터 in the final game. Hojbjerg and Skipp, who have been used as substitutes of late, and Emerson could be in line for a start against Sheffield Wednesday given the wipeout of Tottenham’s left full-back options.

The speculation comes on the back of comments from Postecoglou, who has hinted at major changes. In an interview at the end of the season, Postecoglou pointed out that Spurs are not a Champions League-caliber team at the moment, and that they need to make a lot of changes if they want to go higher.
The first thing he said needed to change was the squad. In order for Spurs to become a better team, they would need a higher quality squad. This is why he mentioned players who could leave the team after the Sheffield game as a farewell.
