Cho Min-kyung and Jeong Tae-young Couple Reach the Top of the World Wheelchair Mixed Double Curling Championships

In this tournament, in which 21 countries participated, the team of Cho Min-kyung and Jeong Tae-young took first place in the preliminaries with 5 wins and 1 loss,

and beat Estonia (7-4 wins) in the quarterfinals and Italy (9-6) in the semifinals to advance to the finals.

Korean wheelchair curling (mixed quartet team) won a silver medal at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympics and failed to advance to the semifinals at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics.

The mixed doubles (mixed duo) match was newly added to the 2026 Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo competition.
