Lee Zhang-ho (Sport Class SH1-Chengzhou) won gold in men’s shooting at the Hangzhou 2022 Para-Asian Games on Wednesday. He finished first in the Shooting R1 (SH1 Men’s 10m Air Rifle Entry) final with a total score of 244.6 points at the Fuyang Throat Sports Center in Hangzhou.

Park Jin-ho (Sports Class SH1 – Cheongju City) finished second with a total of 244.5 points, just 0.1 points behind. Kim Soo-wan (Sport Class SH1 – Gyeongnam Disabled Sports Association) placed fourth.

Lee finished first overall (625.1 points) to advance to the eight-man final. From the beginning of the match, she had a domestic dispute with her teammate Kim Soo-wan.

Lee Jang-ho remained in second place behind Kim until the 10th vault, then took the lead after the 16th vault and never relinquished it.

Park Jin-ho, who qualified for the final eight with the second-best overall score of 624.2 points in the main competition, struggled in the early stages of the final and was in fifth or sixth place, but when the last man fell on the 12th foot, he regained his focus and gradually moved up the rankings.

After the 18th shot, South Korean athletes dominated the top three spots, with Park joining the battle for the top spot.

He kept his gold medal hopes alive by shooting higher scores than Lee Jang-ho on the 23rd and 24th shots, but ultimately had to settle for silver by 0.1 points.

Lee won his first gold medal at the Asian Para Games after taking silver in Indonesia in 2018.

Park, who has won a total of eight medals, including three golds, at the last three ParaAsia Games dating back to Guangzhou 2010, added a valuable silver medal to his collection on the day.

Kim, who shot the fourth-best overall score of 620.0 in the main event to qualify for the eight-man final, was involved in a house fight with teammate Lee Jang-ho (SH1-Chengzhou City) early on, but was overtaken by China’s Dong Chao, who shot a string of high scores in the closing stages to finish fourth.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Lee Yoon-ri (SH1-South Korea Disabled Shooting Federation), who competed in the 토토사이트 Women’s R2 (SH1 10m Air Rifle) final, finished last out of eight competitors with a total score of 120.3 points.

In the final, the athlete with the lowest score is the first to be eliminated after firing 12 shots out of a total of 24 shots, and Lee Yoon-ri stopped the final shooting race at 12 shots.
